Ahmad Mohazab is the Founder and Principal of TECTA Associates, an architecture and design firm serving clients throughout California. He is a licensed architect in 36 states, a LEED Accredited Professional, and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), with more than three decades of professional practice. Mr. Mohazab holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Arkansas and completed graduate studies at Rice University. Prior to founding TECTA Associates, he served as Design Director in the San Francisco office of a large international architectural firm, leading multidisciplinary teams and complex commercial projects. His work spans custom residences, additions and ADUs, retail and restaurant environments, office renovations, and mixed-use developments. He is known for a hands-on, principal-led approach that emphasizes feasibility, constructability, regulatory clarity, and disciplined execution. Clients value his ability to translate design ideas into buildable solutions that balance architectural quality, budget realities, and long-term value.
